Any special tips for taking the wood side uprights off? I assume one needs to take the crossbar off the top, and then the panel slides out? Panel wiring connections under the horizontal piece below it? Other screws inside the woofer box?
Just asking as I haven't take one apart before.

My intent is to remake the 2 side and mid-horizontal wood pieces in a piano gloss black, and put the original oak ones away as they are in mint shape.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I tried disassembling my Monolith IIIs to re-stain the rails, but turns out to be nearly impossible to do. IIRC, seems stuff is both glued in and they use a big old bolt as well, would have required a full tear-down of everything.

Not sure about the construction of the IIs.
