Interesting review of a new digital-drive amp from NAD in TAS.

Fascinating really new topology. It's NOT a typical 'digital amp' (e.g. Class-D) it's a PWM digital amp with pretty cool tech and amazing specs.

With 250 WPC, and what seems to be a lot of current delivery ability (but alas, TAS does no bench testing), it might be a good match for some of the ML's.

Has anyone tested this combo yet?

So you mean to say it is a digital amp, and not a class d?
Almost all Class D amps are not digital.

Yeah, but the press and many people confuse that point.

The only other digital amps I'm aware of are:

The TacT Millenium and subsequent TacT digital amps

A weird Sharp DSD-based PWM amp from five or more years ago

All of those and this new NAD are essentially 'amplifying' DAC's.

Jonathan, I believe that the german Behold amps are true digital, as well.
