Welcome aboard Carl!
Glad to see the the Toronto contingent is growing.
Tell us a little more about your system or better yet, post some pics.

Hi Carl,

Welcome to the club. I am just east of you in Belleville. Did you notice any changes with the mods you did to the speakers and did you do the work or have someone else do the mods?

That big Zeus must sound great.
Cheers, Greg

I posted the work that i have done in the tweak section guys.

Hi everyone,

Great site!

Hey, I just posted about my new order of Summit X's. I lived in Toronto for 39 years...Adrian at Audio Excellence was my ML and Krell dealer then. Also used to deal with Brack in Thornhill for my Levinson gear...and Audio One for my B&W's. Very good shops...but I would never trade the beach to be back near them!! Who do you deal with in T.O.?

I totally hear what your saying about the beach. Most of my equipment i buy is used, i cant afford new

Liquid music

Hi Carl,

Welcome to the international ML community!

I am interested in your Mac and W4S set up, software, hires file downloads etc. I bought new iMac as part of this journey( it is still boxed) and am looking into Pure Vinyl, Amarra, SSD, DACs, RAM sizing etc.

As a Storage Specialist in IT ( allegedly!) I favor FireWire as a protocol for streaming digital content but am open to assync USB.

If you want to set up a separate thread in the related topics part of this forum, go for it.

I play everything from 78s, LPs, CDs, SACD, DVD-A, iPod Touch/Wadia 170i so this just another generation of technology for me to get to music content.

It's the journey both for music and technology that is intriguing.

Cheers Jeff
