Bill Evans on NPR "JAZZ PROFILES'

One of the many outstanding music programs on National Public Radio is the JAZZ PROFILES series hosted by singer Nancy Wilson. Although I don't believe the show is currently in production,the episodes recorded over the years are generally available to hear on-line(and download for free) at NPR.org,under the jazz/blues listings. The particular episode currently featured, "Bill Evans: Piano Impressionism", is especially well-produced,containing music samples and interviiew clips with Eddie Gomez,Paul Motian,Marc Johnson,George Shearing,critic and writer Gene Lees and of course,revealing excerpts from conversations with Bill Evans himself. Highly recommended for those new to his music or anyone seeking the insight that only the musicians themselves can provide.:music:
