For those of you that use Macs (PC version to follow),
Delicious Library is a pretty cool way to keep track of your music collection.

My favorite part of it is that I can make a list of everything and export it to my iPhone, so when record shopping can make sure I don't buy the same thing over!!

We'll have a full review this issue.

Those of you with CD/SACD/DVD-a can just scan them in using your iChat cam as a barcode scanner. For your Lp's you can just drag and drop from Amazon.com to get cover art and info.

Now, I just have about 9000 more discs to scan in and I'll be styling!

Well, I've only done it a few times, but after almost 40 years
of buying records, I just can't remember em all...

Not that it stops me from buying more!! I can't resist.

reminds me...

and that reminds me:

So Jeff - when are you going to post your collection on my music library thread? Now that would be interesting!

When I get it all scanned, I will!

You will all probably have a good laugh....

When I used to go into record stores, the girl
behind the counter used say "buying presents for
people?"

My taste is all over the board!

But nothing like the guy Terry Currier, who is our
"Musical Advisor" on the masthead. Terry
owns Music Millenium here in Portland and has 40
thousand albums!!!!

That's hard core, but imagine working at a record store
since you were 15!!
