No direct experience, but in reading that thread and the site, I would be somewhat skeptical of ALL the claims. Some seem reasonable, but others are far-fetched, and none seems to have solid, objective metrics.

I mean, waiting for our five days to hear if something sounds 'better' is BS. Most people can't correctly evaluate a system that has not changed on iota from one 30 minute period to the next. Our acoustic memory is not that accurate.

The one thing I do agree with him on is that Power Factor Correction is beneficial to not only audio setups but to many other devices in the house.

My recommendation is to get a good PFC and add it to the panel your audio gear is on.
