    I think I have a compatibility problem...

Hi Rich I had Burmester integrated amps for more than 10 years. I loved this sound. Not dry in my ears... I am sure the Pass amps I use have plenty of mid body. I think the body is lost because my Burmester pre is not matching x260.5. Could this be the case, anyone?

    I think I have a compatibility problem...

In January I will test a Burmester amp. If it works, I will replace my Pass Labs with a Burmester amp. I prefer Burmester before Pass Labs. Pass Labs is not available in my country. I have to but a Pass pre from Denmark. My setup is in my living room. Burmester looks better than Pass - in my eyes.

    I think I have a compatibility problem...

I currently own Pass Labs X260.5, Burmester 099 pre with dac, Montis and two Paradigm Sub 1. And Nordost Frey 2 XLR and speaker cables. My bass and treble works very good. But in between, the mid is thin on some material. I have tried two other XLR cables with surprising results. The mid body...

My sound today... I had to replace my DEQX HPD-4. It sounded thin, edgy, cold and unmusical. My main electronics brand thru more than 10 years - German Burmester was tested. I bought a model 099 - DAC preamp. Now I am very satisfied with the sound. The subs are incredible. My sofa is shaking...

Hi Northy! Yes, I will share my sound impressions with you on this forum. I hope my equipment show up in two or three weeks. And about nothern Norway... The whole of my country is really "nothern". I live in the southern part of it. Close to Oslo where I have my work. The nothern part of...

All my music is server files - flac and some mp3. The current HDP-4 has no USB input. But such a card is soon available. I will put one in if it works better than the toslink input.

The DEQX dealer will install and tune this unit. The purchase includes two home visits - three hours each time. And he has promised me to make it sound very good. And since I know him quite well - I think this will work.

Total renewal... Now, the DEQX is also new! Everything is new... The DEQX was recommended by a guy I trust. He is a believer in the religion where the digital eq can make any type of sound. I do not believe in this before I here it in my setup. Maybe I will need a tube preamp or something, to...

Pl/ML I read about this combination before my decision yesterday. So I hope you are right! I have never in my life heard, touched or seen a Pass Lab product. But I have decided to move away from mostly European products - it's more or less all American from now... The Burmester amps I have...

Hi there! In about three weeks, my Montis and two Paradigm Sub 1 will arrive. Yesterday I decided to replace my Burmester amp with Pass Labs X260.5 monoblocks. I plan to use my current Nordost Frey 2 XLR and speaker cables. My source will be the digital preamp, sound processor and dac, DEQX...
