I've replaced my older equipment since I made that post. No more problems at all.

    New CLXes!

So it does Roberto. It's all about the music. It truly comes alive.

    Impact

My Electromotions seem to "rock" just fine. Perhaps you could list some recordings that don't rock on ML. Then we could form an opinion. Anyone remember the "West Coast Sound" vs the "East Coast Sound" when referring to speakers? :)

The Casey verdict and the media

The jury rendered a verdict based on the evidence presented to them. The prosecution failed to remove reasonable doubt. The media thrives and makes money on sensationalism. That will never change.

Electromotion - good amp a waste?

I upgraded my entire system after buying the Electromotions. Currently using this amp. http://emotiva.com/xpa2.shtm The speakers love the power!

    A few questions regarding MLs

I listen to all three types of music mentioned. On the Electromotion, all three sound very good. Vocal jazz is a revelation. Outstanding. On solo piano, if I knew differences between the brands of piano being played, I could probably tell you which one was used in a particular recording...

    Can't argue with those instructions.

    Good question.

9" panel versus 11" Xstat panel.

Since purchasing the Electromotions, I have unhooked my powered subwoofer. I wouldn't want to muddy the sound and the Electromotions provide great bass that is very well balanced with the speaker. I am a two channel listener and quite fussy about the "correct" sound.

    Consecutive serial #

ML says their ESL's are built sequentially but not necessarily shipped that way. They stated it should cause no problems or detriment to the sound quality.

    Consecutive serial #

I submitted the question to ML through their contact us form. I saw nothing on the box to indicate they should be paired.

    Consecutive serial #

I'll check my boxes tomorrow. I know the Source speakers were consecutive. Not sure this can be rectified as I have had the speakers for a couple of months.

My Electromotions were out of order too. 415A and 417A. They sound just fine though so I decided not to worry about it.

    Clx vs clsiiz

Thanks for the photo Roberto. You may have to get a bigger place soon. :)

    New Electromotions defective!!!!

I'm getting some new components tomorrow. If the problem should reoccur, the five year warranty should cover any problems with the speaker.

    New Electromotions defective!!!!

Yes. Electromotion. I've had them for a month or so and used them with no problems until the pop! sound emited from the right speaker. It was loud enough to cause me to jump. I used some compressed air to blow them free of dust, gently. So far, so good. Not sure if there is a problem or...

    New Electromotions defective!!!!

I too, had a crackling sound out of my right speaker two days ago. It seems okay now but, this thread makes me wonder. I blamed it on my old equipment initially. I will be interested to see how this is resolved.

    socks

Maybe these people can help. http://coverstyles.com/ I use the original packing that came with the speakers and cover them at all times when not in use.
