Thank you...I figured as much as leaving the mesh on would have had me painting the thin foam insert.

Anyone have any hints/tips on painting the Ticket speaker grills...do you simply spray the grill?... take the metal mesh out of the plastic frame? The speakers are great but I'm disapointed in the lack of guidance/instructions from ML wrt actually painting the grills. Thanks in advance D. H...
