I've finally had some time to spend with the speakers since I had them reconed. Orange County Speakers had custom cones made for them and I have to say that they sound amazing. I dont have a way to AB with the old one but Ive owned the speakers long enough to know that they as good as new.

I just did this with my Aerius panels. Since the water where I live is very hard I was concerned about water spots on the panels. I purchased a couple gallons of distilled water and used that to wash them. They came out perfect and just now hooked one of them up and so far it's great!

Here is what the reconed woofer looks like. They did an amazing job and it looks pretty darn close to the original. I'll let you know how it sounds when they are put back together. Worst case scenario they will become bedroom speakers and time to upgrade to new ones for the mains.

I have not been able to open the back of the cabinet on my Aerius. They seem to be stuck pretty good and I don't want to damage the cabinet by prying them open. Does anyone have a suggestion. I looked around the forum but did not see any articles on it. Thank you.
