    Question - Cabinet Modification

    Question - Cabinet Modification

Brad - to answer your questions. - I do have some power tools but do not have a router. - I am mechanically inclined but do not have that much experience with wood working. - When I met with the installer, I did ask him if he had a router and he does.

    Question - Cabinet Modification

Paul - understood, will keep it in mind. I only saw the cabinet briefly so I am not sure if modifying the back panel would affect the structural integrity of the unit but definitely something to consider prior to any proposed modification. Thanks.

    Question - Cabinet Modification

Greetings – I have noticed quite a few members that have extensive knowledge regarding carpentry thus the question. I have a media cabinet (actually a sideboard / buffet) that will not accommodate my receiver – it is not deep enough (short about an inch). I was either going to cut out a...

What does the O in MLOC stand for?

Perhaps a silly question but it is on my mind whenever I see it...so here goes. I can't seem to figure out what the "O" in MLOC stands for. I see a lot of people abbreviate / refer to the Martin Logan Club = MLOC. Thx.

TomD - thanks a lot. Great information regarding the amp, I will definitely keep that in mind and have a look at the thread regarding the thumping. <sigh>....the beast...what more can I say, some days are better than others but most days it stays hungry / out of control! Thx again.

New Member / Newbie Question - Amplifier

fvbruin - thanks for the information / welcome...sounds very similar indeed. I have heard a lot of great things about the B&K as well as the Rotel (ran across them during my research phase of my purchase). I ended up purchasing a Sunfire 5200. Regardless thanks again for the input.

    GIK acoustics versus RealTrap?

DC-Audiophile, I found the thread regarding the "cloud" very helpful. I am also looking for room treatments that are "heard but not seen." Although I am not currently back in the US, I hope to be very soon. I will be in the Columbia, MD area and would be interested to know if you come...
