Good to know...But I actually heard about amps "going down" with the use of the old CLS,,,

Many ML models have a pretty "ugly" dip when the speaker reaches 20khz. Does there exist stories that the users in here have heard of, that amplifiers has had a "meltdown" ? Are the special brands of amplifiers that has a bad rep with low ohm and ML ? Other way around, what brands excels...

Electrocompaniet, or EC as we call it in Norway I know good ( http://www.electrocompaniet.no/ ) . Their sound warm and abit dark. Good amps.. Seems like ppl here prefer solidstate and not tubes. Alltough Rouge is mentioned. And I think Rouge is very good too. I have to think a little more on...

So you say 2x300 transistor watts is better then 2x100 class A tube watts ?
