    Just to add, the Montis are very easy speakers to live with. They don't have any funny quirks; they fit nicely in all sorts of rooms; the panel-sub integration is outstanding. As Gordon says, they're a "giant killer". I was fortunate to get an ex-demo pair from the main ML dealer in London. Matt

    A fair review, I think, allowing for the journalistic hyperbole. I agree with his comment about a slight softening in the 2-4kHz region. I apply a modest boost in that region with a parametric EQ. Matt

    Yes, a fair review, though I'd disagree about the comparison with the Harbeths. I really do like Harbeths (especially the SHL5s), but to my ears they're nowhere near as lifelike as MLs.
