If you are certain there is no blue LED showing in one of your speakers I would give the ML service center a call. The serial numbers shouldn't be a factor, but both Vistas should have an LED illuminating when in use. I'm sure it's a quick and easy fix....

This is mostly true I believe. The spire is supposed to have the new and improved crossover, but it only has a 35Hz control, while the Summit has 25Hz and 50Hz I believe. I don't know if the new Summit will have this distinction, but I don't know why it wouldn't... I know the Spire's size...
