New Vista panel in house... old panel in shower...

The washing did work... kinda nerve wracking. I just bought a pair of JBL 2245's off Clist and am refinishing them putting on new surrounds. Gonna go in my vintage two channel room upstairs.

New Vista panel in house... old panel in shower...

... Got the new panel in finally... BUT... the older panel is not as crisp and a tad softer in volume. So i grew a pair and washed the older panel to see what is up with that. I'll let them dry till Sunday the 30th then report back... I have my doubts. Can't hurt and I won't have $900.00 for...

Me too, and thank you. It's been so long that the shear beauty of the Logans sound was like the first time I heard a pair. I listened to Two Against Nature twice and two Nils Petter Molvaer cd's after that... :)

They are up and running after more than a year down.... Gotta love the sound... Two Against Nature is very entertaining... I heard the Aerial Acoustic's last weekend. Very very nice... the crossovers are a work of art in themselves... Happy the ML's are back. Been a loooong road. Still...

I opened the box and got the instructions out along with a cup of hot tea to sit and read thru to get a mental picture of the steps to take in the replacement... smack in the middle of the read... three pages are missing..:musicnote:

Don't know the physics but sound comes from just 30-40% of the middle of the left panel.

I just spent all my saved money (that I intended to use for this repair) to pay for a new panel on a very young Vista. It was allot. I have been reading about all the issues with ML and there new parent company. I'm having thoughts of jumping ship and going with a cone based system that will...

    Panels under warranty?

Had the same kind of situation with my Vista's. Got nowhere with CS and had to go to the dealer for help. Not wrinkles but about 60% of my left panel went dead. that was after my woofer bit the dust...

    Need an honest discussion here.

Well things have changed a bit.... I'm putting my repair of the Vista panel on hold as I have found a wonderful and somewhat rare pair of A/D/S 1590 series 2 for the same money as the panel. Amazing condition and a speaker I have wanted to own for many years... so the Vista's will be on vacation...
