Thank you, Rehan, for these insights! A couple of points about my set up... The Arcam AV41 is a preamp only, 16 channels, of which I am setup for 5.1 sound. The NAD M28 is a 7 channel amplifier. The amp is rated at 340 watts @ 4 ohms, all channels, and 400 watts @ 4 ohms for just 2 channels...
