Two quick thoughts....if I bought w/ a credit card I'd contact them and dispute the charges. Second, I'd try to get replacement speakers (for loaners until they returned what I bought) that are more costly than what I purchased....that way the dealer has some "skin in the game" to finalize the...
Martin Logan Prodigy speakers for sale $2200. Panels reconditioned 2018.
It's time to move my beloved prodigy speakers. Just had the panel's reconditioned the year before last professionally. This is not a fire sale but the alternative is to put them in storage for a couple of years. Low-ball...
Washed my Prodigy panels in '15 and it gave me a 30% improvement overall (had one channel slowly losing db's over a 5-year span). After two years I had someone rework them (wash and recoat) the panels. Here's a link to the shop that did the work...
Thanks for the support and clarification!!
I just returned from a 5 year stint overseas and I'll be bringing in my Prodigy's for panels sometime in '18....looking forward to getting that done!!
Thanks again!
Hey all...long time member/ML owner here but I've been out of the loop as I've been working in Korea for the last 5 years. I'm heading home soon (VA/NC area) and have a panel issue w/one of my Prodiy's....no physical damage but a loss of panel volume of about 60%. It's been a long time coming...
wow some great stuff here....Neil hit it on the head for me as far as bass overloading it gets in the wya of the music. I wrote ML to see what effect disconnecting one of the bass drivers would have.....I'm sure its not optimal...but I'm working hard to make it work...
roberto....sound like...
My room is a 12 x 14....yes I know...wayyyy too small for either of these babies to stretch out! I'm off to hear the Summits next week.....should be fun!
Roberto - PM sent TY!
PTJedi - Yes given the situation it seems like a logical trade. I really just wanted to get a sesne if they are both in the same league so-to-speak.
Bernard - Yes I have added what treatments I could but placement is a wash. Small room big speakers = boom boom. I know the...
I have been a long time Prodigy owner and after 5 years or so came to the realization that my room is just to small for my babbies. (I've always known it but was in denial) The main issue is the bass overloads the room and I think over time my ears and my musical taste have changes so I just...
The "auto" feature on this unit is for gaining a flattened bench-line so once you get in the ball park it reverts (or better stated you revert it) back to manual mode so there is no "auto" mode running thus correction be made as music is play...same as in a studio mastering application.
But...

JRace- Guess Beakman answered your first question...and that's why I found it "weird" as stated in my first post. But what I did do it do two separate readings one above then one below and then manually married the two. The bass response was a bit low so a made some slight...
I picked up the UltracurvePro 24/96 Digital Equalizer to help work some issues in a 12 x 12 room....the directions are really lame but it states that automatic EQ (room correction) should not be used below 100hz....just weird to me...
I tried hunting around bit...anyone know any good reads on...
