Is my assumption that I need an AVR with pre-outs correct ? Is that how others do it, or do they just have separate speakers for hi-fi and home cinema ?

As you know, the Aeons have twin binding posts - I had connected one run of speaker cable from the new amp, and a second run of speaker cable from my AV receiver (AVR) AND I had bridged the binding posts so panel and woofer were connected...

I don't think it will surprise anyone on this forum when I say that the Aeons are going nowhere - I absolutely love them - they would be the last thing I would change :rocker:
