I'm on a long time Sonos user. While its great for a lot of things its definitely not a reference grade piece of equipment. I tried Bluesound devices, but found the Sonos interface far superior and I had issues streaming over wifi (which was my only choice at the time). I owned a Naim ND5 XS...

My boss's son has that NAD and seems to really love it. IMO i'd throw the Sanders out just because of price alone. Add in the Parasound Halo P6 into the equation, which I absolutely love. Pretty big step up from my previous P5.

Ahh I thought I'd done that. Yeah..we were really disappointed they didn't get it done last night. Seems like the bats are either cold or on fire. No real in between.

Hadn't posted in a long time, thought I'd drop another update in. It's taken me a while, but I think I'm at a point with electronics that I see no reason to make any adjustments. I've sold the P5 and an A21 that I was using, and moved to Parasound's new P6 and A21+. They are really awesome...

Hey Jay, I'm not familiar with Vincent (other than in my AA catalogs), but I've had those speakers since about 2013. I just recently switched to Parasound's A21+, and its as good of amp as I've probably ever heard. Unless you're specifically looking at Tubes, I'd take a look at that.

Awesome thread. I'm using a P5/A21 with my M40s. Definitely see a JC2 and some ESLs (possibly Classics or Impressions) in my future.

Yeah, that was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a streamer that was good enough where I didn't need to add a DAC. So far this thing is pretty awesome, and most importantly my mother loves her new Sonos Connect!

took the plunge and bought a Naim streamer. This replaces my Sonos connect for local library streaming, and I'm pretty blown away by it. I'm currently enjoying the 30 day trial period, but I can't see not keeping it. Now...whats everyones thoughts on DSD?

What are you trying to accomplish by adding power? Mono is obviously best, but a lot of stereo amps (my Parasound A21 comes to mind) are more than capable of driving the Ethos. I know Emotiva are popular, but I've read they aren't very musical.

You'll probably want to remove that. I believe the only reason you'd wanna leave that in there would be if the bass was too booming.

I'll be interested to read your review. Those look like two very similar amps, I'd wonder how big of an upgrade that ends up being. I'm actually a day away from upgrading my A23 to an A21.

If Class A and budget is what you're after then I think look no further than Parasound Halo Integrated. It works in Class A power for the first several watts, and puts out pretty huge current. I have a P5/A23 combo that is pretty killer.

I have "Fender Premium" in my Golf GTI (which is an awesome car by the way). I'm not quite sure who makes it, but it sounds pretty damn good. Bose headphones are great. I have QC20s and I wouldn't think of carrying anything else in my travel bag. It's a great match to my ThinkPad P50.
