Uh nope, the room causes way more distortion than any compliantly designed equipment. Go ahead an obsess over .003% thd vs .007% thd when SBIR (this still is a problem with ML's since they use cones for the bass) and reflections cause huge peaks and nulls. ;)

Keep both subs on the mono channel. There's no real point to running subs stereo IMO especially since you lose all the benefits of multiple subs smoothing out FR, the combined sum working less hard for the same SPL, and overall lower distortion.

Bi-wiring does nothing except part you with your money. In your case since the Vantage has powered woofers so even passive bi-amping wouldn't do anything either since it's more or less done that internally anyway. Save your money and don't buy Audioquest. I know this is a controversial subject...
