For Sale MartinLogan Renaissance ESL 15A Gloss Black

SALE SUSPENDED... I may put them back up for sale later. These were purchased directly from ML in November 2020 and are just over three years old. I would rate these an 8-9/10. Functionally and electronically, they are flawless, but they are not perfect cosmetically, yet they are close to...

Spires vs. ReQuest (Possibly buyers remorse?)

You are quite welcome. Never heard the SACD or the CD, but I suspect the Stereo version on the DVD would be the same as the CD version. So I am close minded because I do not listen to a certain style of music? My genre is very broad, but it doesn't include any of the above. No reason for me...

Spires vs. ReQuest (Possibly buyers remorse?)

My primary comparison DVD's are David Gilmour in Concert and Eagles - Melbourne Tour. They are really a two-channel mix with rear channel information added for ambience and actually more life-likeness of being at a concert. Gilmour starts out with an acoustic solo on his guitar that is simply...

Spires vs. ReQuest (Possibly buyers remorse?)

I listen to very little two-channel. I did listen to some David Gilmour in two-channel the other night, but the DD 5.1 track sounds much better. As far CDs... very very little listening. Most of my music is in the form of concert DVDs.

Spires vs. ReQuest (Possibly buyers remorse?)

Thank you! Yeah.... love bass. I am about a 95% HT guy, so sub bass is right on up there in making the experience as real as possible. That may be... Snell B-Minors were my main speakers for years, but I have had PSB, JBL, Klipsch and the VMPS RM30's... of which none could come close to the...

Spires vs. ReQuest (Possibly buyers remorse?)

Yep... speakers have always made the most impact on my system. I have owned McIntosh, Sunfire, Lexicon, Earthquake, Anthem... but none of those made near the impact that upgrading to ML's did. I could not have been happier than I was with my Ascent i's and NAD receiver... or the Anthem gear...

You really are joking, right? The Anthem AVM50 and MCA50 are not high quality separates? I will need to call it a night on that one.

What windows? I have heard Dynamat works really well though.

Thanks Rich and Preston! Preston... just so you know... I own Home Theater Shack. I actually have six subs too, four in the back.

Spires vs. ReQuest (Possibly buyers remorse?)

Gordon... apology accepted... absolutely no hard feelings here. Although I do enjoy some spirited and challenging conversation, I did not intend to offensively ruffle anyone's feathers. Lots of good info guys and I appreciate it. I have been trying to find some diffusers for the rears, but...

oops... I apologize GG... got the two Gordons confused there.

Spires vs. ReQuest (Possibly buyers remorse?)

Gordon... not sure how you arrive at your earlier comments, but they are inappropriate at best... definitely inaccurate... and a "pot shot" at me, if you will. I have not rejected anything completely, much less "out of hand". You might want to look up the definition of trolling, which is what...

Spires vs. ReQuest (Possibly buyers remorse?)

"... uninformed clap trap." ??? C'mon Rich. Uhhh.... I suspect he has probably listened to some fifty-eleven more systems than most others here in this forum. Not only is he (or once was) a Professor of Mathematical Logic and Computing Science that held a joint appointment in the...
