It would be similar to my setup. I have a pair of Puritys in the front with a Vignette for the center channel. I'm very happy with the sound so far.

So I checked out that Furez wire and I really like it. I'm ready to pull the trigger on about 150' or so (need only 100 but it's good to have more). How did you go about bringing the wiring from the amp to the speakers? i.e. did you finish them off on wall plates with connectors? Any details...

That's great to hear, Daniel! I have Montages that I'm about to install as rear surrounds. I love the way they look and they're always getting compliments from guests. Thanks for sharing the experience with yours:bowdown:

Did you replace it with orig ML woofers and if so, how much did that run you? Did you do the repairs yourself?

My speakers are about 3 feet from the wall and I will need cords about 7 feet long. Looks like the Signal Cable Magic Power will do just fine, thanks everyone for their response! I'll report back after I get a set.

So what happened next? Did you get your refund? ...and is the Montage going to be brought back to life? Curious minds want to know...:)

I'm looking for some decent speaker wire for a pair of Montages (for rear surround duty), it would be nice to conceal the wires in the walls. Anyone have any experiences or recommendations? The wiring will probably travel about 30' through the walls and ceiling.

It's a very nice unit indeed, Tom. Love my Oppo BDP-83:rocker: Seems to be pretty solid and I love the fact that it plays ".mkv" files. One of the few negatives I find with this player is it only supports FAT and NTFS files systems, maybe they'll add unix in a future firmware update but I won't...

Speaking of the Montages for surround duty, anyone have any advice on some wires for those? I plan on passing the wires through the walls so nothing is showing. What type/brand would you use? It has to travel through the walls about 28' to the Montages.

My purity's do not have a 3rd prong. I've been looking into these power cords: http://signalcable.com/digitalpowerHC.html What do you think of them? I find it hard to shell out any extra $$ for just power cords but these seem more reasonable than some of the astronomically high priced ones...
