Well I got the mcintosh and all I can say is wow. The montis sound w on derail now as they really came to life at all volume levels

What was the reason for the mc303 over the mc8207? My dilemma is I need 9 channels so it's getting up there. Thinking maybe mc302 or 303 and 8207. Wish they had a 8303 with digital to reduce price I also noticed the 303 and 302 do 2 ohm and the 8207 does not in the montis will that play into...

Not broken in yet

so i have everything hooked up... my observations are as follows... overall things sound good...at mid to high volume excellent at low volume i feel lower end and mid level is missing a little... kind of shallow... i tried a mcintosh 7 channel amp and it felt warmer and better at low...

thanks for the comments. what would you recommend to put behind the speaker? preferably something that looks nice on the wall as it is our family room... currently i have them setup... it does sound nice... very clear.. what i am noticing is with the yamaha doing the room setup for...

Guys, thanks for the feedback and i hear where you are all coming from... in fairness to the the reseller he said for tv i probably wouldn't notice much of a difference from the lower models...so he was good that way and didnt try to oversell me ( i oversold myself)... i just started to think...

I already ordered a xpa7 so hopefully it wont be too much of a difference... i plan on using the spa-7 for now I am going to eventually do atmos so it will be 9 channel so i figure i can add a xpa2 for the mains...and let the xpa7 service center and all 6 surrounds... Thanks

what power cables do you recommend and what is a net filter? what 2 channel amps do you like? i could always put a 2 or 3 channel covering the fronts and another amp covering the balance....it doesnt have to be a single amp.. Thanks

what recommendations on amplifiers for my setup? I will be running 7ch setup montis main stage x center scripts on rear other for the additional 2 channels my main concern is to cover the front 3 properly...but the scripts are panels also..so i guess 5 of the 7 any recommendations? thanks

Well the decision was made for me. The order already went in so too late to change Montis it is for me :) What speaker wires does everyone recommend? I have an older set of miterminator2 that is biwire (use into single post?)or I can get a deal on a older never used monster 2.2 or buy...
