This did not work for me. The LED on the Dynamo never goes solid. I press the button for 3 seconds per the manual but it never goes solid.

I've tried to sync my Motion Vision to my Dynamo 1000 also with no luck. I wonder if that feature is buggy and doesn't work well. I reached out to ML support but everything they tried didn't work.

Powering them with external power amplification, you should see major improvements over your Denon AVR. Use the Denon as a preamp, like you said and you'll have a cool system with lots of headroom.

This is an interesting thread. I always thought the reason for the rake was so the panels could be made larger without having them look so massive. In my own experience, I had a big improvement in eliminating the rake by making my Theos vertical! Very happy with the results this yielded.

I use AQ Type 8 cables bi-wired. I noticed a softer, less harsh top end when I switched to these cables from Blue Jeans 10 gauge cables. I'm very happy with them especially for the price.

That model is rated at 105W/channel into 8 ohms. For the Electromotion ESLs something closer to 200W would be ideal. But that model checks all the boxes you wanted, and it's within your budget and any more power would increase your cost.
