The problem is, Martin Logan has already substituted a replacement. You have no idea if the replacement is anywhere near the original, until you dough out $500 for a pair of woofers. Since it is a completely different version, you really should replace both of them.
When are people going to stop blaming the previous administration and hold this one accountable? Why can nothing be said about this man without it being Bush's fault or racism is brought up. The healthcare debacle is very simple. Obama either lied or he has absolutely no control over his...
I have never been a fan of Obama's political views. I do believe that he knew three years ago that this was going to happen. How long can people continue to listen to this man lie to their faces.
This man is a joke and thinks that the American people are all stupid. It has been proven that the administration knew 3 years ago people would lose their healthcare plans. The only reason he's sorry is because he was caught. I guess we cannot decide for ourselves what we need anymore. I am sure...
I for one at the first of the year will see my insurance go up 33% per week and my deductible will quadruple. Some may have saved up front, but many of them will see their co-pays and deductibles doubled and even quadrupled. What about the fact that they blatantly lied about people not losing...
Remember that used speakers come with no warranty unless the dealer will give you the remainder of the original 5 year warranty.. A full panel rebuild for CLX speakers will run you a little over $9000. As long as you understand the cost to replace all the panels , buying them is up to you. If...
If you cannot go wrong or need a box of tissues, why are you selling yours?? For someone bent on praising Martin Logan, why are you jumping ship?? Could be you be trying to get a higher resale value, whch everyone else has been worried about?
I highly agree. I have owned Monolith's for 20 years and still have them. I have owned and listened to several other ML and the sound is very small compared to them except for the original CLS. Even the Prodigy speakers sounded somewhat small compared to the Monolith's.
I think that you misunderstood my estimate. If you look at 8000 to 9000 over 30 years, it is 300 - 500 total annually for three decades. I agree that many will not keep their speakers that long. If I make it 30 more years my hearing will probably not be good enough to tell the difference...
ML is destroying their own used market. It would be absurd to spend over 10K on used CLX speakers when panels will cost you over $9000. That is very near the cost of buying a new pair. The ML supporters of the move have never explained why the company has continued to lie to the forum members...
Remember that used speakers do not come with warranties. If you are willing to accept a $9000 panel replacement cost then your answer is yes. If not, then I would look elsewhere. Buying used ML speakers used to be a no brainer in my opinion, but the current high cost of panels had made this an...
I would humbly suggest that before ML forum members wage a "bad mouth" campaign against ML, they do this objectively, regarding their own experiences rather than either hearsay or concern that replacement panels will put them "out of business." Finally, if some one told me that it would cost...
