From my experience, I do not believe ANY pair of original KLH Nines will play well without intervention and repair. It sure has not happened for me. In fact, most I have come across were put into storage because they needed repair. Just an FYI FWIW.

I have no idea what would make you think that... He can go to Justrealmusic.com to buy kits/parts or have a complete supply built for him... There are other sources and how-to books as well. FYI, I am not affiliated with any of them, but I have had Russ repair some KLH Nines for me.

Martin Logan is in a quandary regarding parts pricing. If they charge you $ 75 for a woofer and the panels are the $300 that they should be, somehow it's hard to justify why a new pair speakers cost $ 5,000.
