Thank you Gordon for the reply. i think i will stay with ML since i honestly LOVE the way they sound even for HT sound. also, the speakers stand as recommended by ML manual 2ft from the wall so thats working well.

thanks timm. they arent too old and they are a trade in pair from my dealer which is why no boxes. he is about 20 miles away from me so i can just pick them up without boxes and put them very carefully in my car.

do you mean the size of the room or my distance from the speakers? the room size is about 13W x 20L but i sit about 12 feet away from the tv / speakers, and the rest of the 8 feet is behind me.
