Thanks all.
I decided to go with the finesse of the hybrid Einstein Light in the Dark amp out of Germany. Should be plenty of Class A power. If you're not familiar withe Einstein & this amp, here's a link to an older dagogo review...
Sounds like both are winners
Thanks for your thoughts.
It sounds like both would work great. As I enjoy the sound of tubes, and I'm not driving any demanding woofers, I'm leaning towards the Einstein Light in the Dark. It should be a great match to my Leto Zesto tube preamplifier

What amp/integrated amp/receiver are you driving these with?
Do those identical electronics work with different speakers?
It's possible that you only have a preamp signal reaching your speakers.
For Summit X speakers & my tubed Zesto Leto preamp, I'm debating between the Pass Labs x250.5 or the the Einstein Light in the Dark hybrid amp. Is the Einstein powerful enough & able to deal with the impedence swings?
I hope to hear from folks who have heard the x250.5 & Einstein Light in the...
Big wide smile
I like your bottom line. So true. Yet I wonder....
Bottom line is: if you can't move the rack, leave it where it is, forget all the audiophile details, and just enjoy the music.
Here ya go. THe rack & the system within myroom. I plan on moving my SF Guarneri Hommage's to a different sytem, replacing them with ML's. Hopefully the attachments work...
Gordon, the rack is 32" tall x 47" wide x 29" deep including the cords behind it. The front of the rack is 11" from the back of the speakers. Thanks for your help with this..
My low boy rack is open in the front and back. Might it stll be limiting my mid & lower bass?
I'm still trying to overcome my inertia moving all kmy schtuff...
Jemplayer, it would be ideal to experiment and move items from between the speakers. But, my oh my, it's a lot of work to move, reconnect, level et al.
Curious- does your moniker mean that you play the djembe drum?
Thanks Gordon. A to-the-point response. Your ystem looks great, and I'm sure it sounds great. Visually pleasing idea too- place broad leaf plants behind & between the speakers.
I'm considering moving my low-boy rack from between my speakers. The two side by side racks combined are 47" wide and 28"deep including wire room.
Disconnecting & reconnecting components, & re-leveling all is a considerable job. Will it be worth it? I know that every acoustical situation is...
Thanks JonFo.
Unfortunately my room is not a dedicated listening room. Curious though- wondering why the Ethos has DSP room correction, while the more expensive, two-bass Summit X does not have DSP? Seems backwards to me.
