Actually, Brad, that's not MY setup! I was replying to the OP, Lotus78! However, I plan to host a Suncoast Audiophile Society "Mini-Meet" end of Sept or early Oct, and will make sure we have at least one wine bottle to uncork!

I realize it was Lotus's setup Alan. The second sentence, was where we would help tune his system by you and me altering the level of wine in each bottle.

very good Larry, looks much better without the sub in the middle 'muddying up' everything. I assume you're happier going back to a 2.0 set up ?

It’s been a while. Two major things have happened in my two-channel room over the last year and a half.

1st the Martin Logans have been replaced by Philharmonic BMR monitors

2nd The flood.

The Rebuild:

New Equipment:

Minidsp Flex
Benchmark AHB2 Amp.

BMR Monitors

New Lighting

Added misc. stuff

Eight months in some flooring

It is finally starting to sound like a proper HiFi room.

Still qualifying as a ML owner because The Logans found a happy home in our "Media" room.

This is a 2.0 theater/desktop system (my office is a desk on the opposite wall of the speakers) using the Minidsp Power for the ML and Topping DX3 Pro+ for headphones (HiFiman SE-500). Sources are Windows PC, Roku and a Sony Blu-ray DVD, yes video switching is a manual process. The ML sound fantastic in this room. Even off axis they present such a large soundstage that not only is this a great room for movies but for audio also. Dirac Live is used for DSP with the Harmon curve as the target which is also used in the audio only room.
