magnetic clamps:is it safe?

Hi all
is it safe to apply little magnetic disc (same for sinews) on panels?
i do this to bear plastic or cloth cover panels.

Yes, magnets are safe around ESLs. Take care not to scratch them.
What is "sinews"?
 
it does not sound like a good idea to place magnets on your stators if this is what you are doing as over time the stators could become magnetized and therefore not allowing them to function properly.
 
for sinews i mean tendons of the home-windows..
try to explain better: want to put 2 or 3 little magnetic disc on frame of my ascent for keeping up light tendons on panels.
obviusly magnetic clamps are attached when ML are off.

Fear of the Unknown is only natural. ESLs will work just fine even if the stators become slightly magnetized.

I still don't know what you mean, radioman. "Tendons"?
