hi all
i have just won a set of ml quest on ebay from a deceased estate and would like some advice on checking them out

they were part of a audiophiles collection who passed away and have been sold by his wife suposedly in mint condition (fingers crossed)

is there anything in particul;ar i should look for whilst inspecting them

also she has listed them as quest but has the original reciept from when they were purchased new that has the date 1999 and the amout of $11,000 aussie dollars i was under the impression that the quest was updated to quest z before 1999 ?

any way im hoping you guys can fill me in on any potential problems i should look for when i go to pick them up

thanks in advance
regards sheafer

Panel age is a isssue with all Martin Logan's. Get the serial # of the rear of the panel , located on the upper left side and I can tell you the age or if they are original.

They may well be Z's but many dealers still had one or two older Quests on the floor.
