Tom, don't you love Christmas in June!

Got the Anthem home tonight and immediately tore into my gear, took it all apart and started re-assembling all of it with the new D2 using the balanced cables instead of my single ended AQ King Cobras.

Got the DVR hooked up first... got it all tested and working. Then got the PS3 all working.. Then my squeezebox, thru the DAC, then thru the DBX 4BX and into the D2. All works great...

Then the DVD changer.. Started to get tired.. outputting audio via optical and video via component vid cables.. put in the Eagles Hell Freezes over DVD and got it going, but it wasn't in surround.. hmmmm. weird... and the video wasn't wide screen.... Hmmmm...

about 9PM, I said, "enough" and turned everything off, made a sandwich, got an ice cold Stella and relaxed..

Tomorrow is another day!

Left my good camera at work, so this was with my iPhone..

will be tweaking all weekend and messing with ARC...

What a lovely set-up you got going there. :bowdown:
As you know I am a huge fan of Anthem gear but you have taken it a few steps beyond... :music: An amazing 7:1 system powered by Pass power ...so how does it sound for music and for HT? Inquiring minds want to know?

I'm still doing alot of tweaking with the ARC system.. Will do some more this weekend..

For movies, the surround channels are way more subtle and integrated into the rest of the sounds... not sure if that makes sense or not... that's the biggest thing I notice..

For 2 channel, after ARC room EQ, the soundstage was more focused and the imaging seemed larger..

Tom that is awesome!!!! Congrats on the D2! I'll bet it sounds amazing!

haven't had a chance to listen to it.. Been so busy at work... and I misplaced the CD... think it's in my car, but haven't looked yet...
