I've seen Luka live in very small settings a couple of times (I'm not sure how big the Chicago venue is). This should be a great show. I am disappointed that he is not hitting the Detroit/Ann Arbor area like his last tour. I'm jealous.

Wayne, I missed your last pm (a week or two ago) due to my mail box being full.

Bob,
The venue seats just 380 people.
Furthest seat from the stage is 45 feet away

Scored 2 tickets today. Front Row, Dead Center, for the 7pm show.
Signed up as a memeber to the Old Town School of Folk Music last Thursday so I could buy tickets today before they went on sale to the public.

Can't wait

I would love to go but I will be out of town that weekend.

WOW! This will be a great show. Less than 400 people....I'm jealous.

Bob,
Here's a pic of the venue.
Hopefully they allow picture taking at the place.
If they do I'll be sure to get a couple of good shoys of Luka to post

Looks like a cool place.

Would love to see more pictures. Quite a while back when Luka played the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor my brother was able to bring in a camera and took some awesome black and whites. We actually got Luka to sign a couple at the next show that we saw him at.

You are going to love this show.

Wayne,
How was the show?

Bob the show was outstanding.
He is one hell of a guitar player.
Great sense of humor and a great story teller.

Played 6 or 7 songs from his new album.
Opened with I am not at war and ended with Don't be afaid of the light that shines within you.
Played one of your favorites, Sunny Sailor Boy.
Of course he played City of Chicago, but not June

If he comes anywhere near Chicago again, I have to go.

Anyone who has not seen him, I urge you to go, you will not be disappointed.
I think he ends the U.S. tour this month in Pennsylvania and New York.

I'm bummed he missed metro Detroit on this tour. Hopefully next time.

Sounds like I need to play some Luka tonight.....
