A seminal album for electronic music - just take a listen
Oxygene is one of the best new age / ambient albums ever played. This album includes a Region 0 DVD of the actual recording. The album is 5.1 (NOT an SACD).

Actually picked up teh CD/DVD combination a couple of days ago (dual CD case, not in a DVD case as you picture). The CD is amazing but I find the DVD lacking in picture quality. it is definitely interesting to watch and I do like the multichannel mix. Was hoping for DTS96 versus the dolby digital but it's good. I'll oprobably spend more time listening to the CD.
If you're a fan or like the music, it's definitely better than the original.

I assume the 5.1 is on the DVD. I mean if the CD isn't SACD, then there's no way to get 5.1 on a Redbook CD, right?

What's the 'enhanced' refer to, the 5.1?

Yes, The CD itself is 5.1 but it is not an SACD (another missed opportunity)!!!
SACD is 24 bits (I think), but this CD is 20 bits.
