If you guys wouldn't mind a new face, I might be able to make it too.. My schedule is tentative at this point but it's a decent possibility that I could..

Heck, I like good conversation, Martin Logans, music and beer...:D

Cosmos,
You're welcome to come. I'm planning on sending out pm's today with my address.

Bob

I 75 detour

Thanks for the info kruppy I will be there, I came through there from Toledo yesterday I took I 275 north to I 94 from there you can go east to I 75 north couldnt be easier. Looking forward to seeing the new guys as well as the usual suspects.

Just a little note, Mapquest is off by a couple of addresses. My house is on the curved section of the road, roughly 2 or 3 houses to the west of where Mapquest shows it. If you keep driving west in to the curve you will basically end up in my driveway. Parking is tight in front of my house and my neighbors homes on either side. Feel free to park on the other side of the street.

I'm farting like crazy today........thanks for the chili and beans Kruppy.:D

just finished downloading pictures

Good sounds and great people, kruppys system is very good indeed, all of the usual suspects and a few new guys showed. A nicely done basement allowed us to listen and socialise without interupting the others. I was very impressed with the set up very musical, good imaging, and overall nice sounding.

Thanks to Kruppy for his hospitality and the chili was quite palatable and could also be described as an extra value meal.

Thanks for the comments Ken. I'm glad you took some pictures. I completely forgot to.

We had nine people spend the afternoon (unfortunately in my basement), which turned out to be a beautiful Michigan spring day.

Kenscollick - Ken
C.A.P - Chris
J Lustig - Jim
Kach22i - George
CLSIIASTAT - Jerry + 2 interesting friends (Robert who used to own an audio store in Birmingham, MI and knew his audio and, Tim (I think that was his name) who sounded like a big DIY guy.
1 last Non-ML member - Jeff (who I met because he was looking at buying my SL3s and lives about 10 minutes from me)

What has turned out to be a bonus for me, is that I have 2 pieces of equipment to try out in my system just to get some experience. C.A.P left me his Sunfire sub play with and Jeff lent me his Carver tube cd player to compare to my set up.

Good lord, Kruppy what was in that CHILI? , that was the gift that keeps on giving ! I think you put methanol it that stuff.

It was nice to see the usual suspects. Kruppys system has defiantly improved with his own tweaks. We did get a chance to play with a few things after everyone left. The Copper speaker cables were noticeable but we did a few other changes at the same time so I'm sure BOB will reverse each tweak and see if its a improvement in it self. Good times and good fun !

Ill be ready for another one at my place with a new system as soon as the weather breaks and its HOT !

Regrets

Sorry I missed it.. Overall, might be a good thing considering the comments on the after effects of said chilli... :D

Sounds like you guys had a good time... Perhaps the next one... BTW, don't forget AKFest is coming up soon... just find my listening room and introduce yourselves, please.. if you can make it. For those that don't know about it.. www.akfest.com
