Hey All,
Anybody going to the 24th Annual Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tenn. next Thurs. thru Sun.? Its going to be one of the worlds largest international blues gatherings. Gonna be going off all up and down Beale Street.
Just got back from a fund raiser to send my friend Josh Miller and his band the Bad Mules to Memphis for the competition. I was playing acoustic upright bass with Kenny Clark on Hammond B-3 organ, Johnathon Buck on drums Dennis Braum on sax and had plenty of guest players. Had a blast and raised a good bit of cash for the send off.
I can't make the Beale St. Festival, but if any of you make it, cheer on Josh Miller and his buddies from France, The Bad Mules...
