Man this is good to know! I'm closer and closer to buying myself that HD-XA2. I'm waiting to see what the new Toshiba players are going to be like?

It's quite logical, as the companies distributing the American movies in Europe may not be the original studios... and they can have a HD policy different from their US counter part. :cool:

The good news is that in almost of the cases, the HD DVD sold in Europe do have an Original Version, even those sold out of the UK.

This is certainly news to me.... interesting how there's a backdoor way to getting what we're not supposed to get.
