This DAC and its matching transport are truly digital done right. I heard the pair at a local shop and actually thought they might be worth the money. Until I found out they cost $15,500 for the pair.

The mono Teac/Esoteric D-01 designed to eliminate crosstalk by isolating each channel to its own chassis. $12,500 per channel!

Lugano, some day maybe I will have a DAC and transport to play through my 101a speakers! Talk about delayed gratification, I STILL have not been able to get out to Monroe, LA to pick those us! We are hoping for good weather next week so we can fly out.

Oh, the guy that is hanging on to them for me has had THE BEST TIME showing them off! They are not hooked up they are just setting in his office so people come in and he says they get the strangest looks on their faces trying to figure out what they are! The best one was recent and they thought that the speakers were heaters.
