Title; Casino Royale ~ Blue-Ray
Year of Release: 2006
Film Studio: Sony Pictures
Genre: Action / Crime / Adventure

I think this is the very best James Bond film ever made. :D I actually thought it was the best film of 2006. It is offers just the right amount of edginess, grittiness and suave sex appeal. The director Martin Campbell deserves the credit for putting this terrific Bond film together. This is the second Bond film for Campbell, he directed Golden Eye. All I can say is that the second time was the charm. Maybe it’s because of the excellent script. Maybe it’s because of the excellent acting. I don’t know but Casino Royale makes it all work in perfect harmony. The perfect James Bond film, IMHO.

I thought Daniel Craig was soooo suave and sexy. IMHO, he far surpassed the Great Sean Connery’s performances (and Mr. Connery had been my fav before Casino Royale). Craig was serious yet vulnerable, which is what slew me. I wonder if he is married… :D
Craig’s cool blue eye’s and body language were mesmerizing. I was thrilled by the stellar performance of Daniel Craig. He had super chemistry with Eva Green on the big screen as well as the smaller plasma screen. Eva Green character Vesper Lynd gave just the proper amount of sex appeal and intelligence with Craig’s Bond. Eva Green is a stunning beauty as well. Her eyes and body were a perfect compliment to Craig’s Bond. Judi Dench gave her standard great performance as “M”.

The cars in Casino Royale were cool. The 1964 Austin Martin was the car James Bond won at his first poker session was really a beauty. The new modern James Bond issued car was an Austin Martin DBS. It sure looked & sounded fast.

I found this film on Blue-Ray to be dare-I-say-it-again, almost as clear and razor-sharp as film. My Pioneer 43” plasma monitor was a goin’ nuts displaying all the HD information in wonderfully vivid detail. Hurray! Blue-Ray for a wonderful disc. He special feature were great as well. Sound was penetrating and full filled at my new expectations for the very best of Blue-Ray quality. The sound and sound effects were sooooo dynamic and clearly presented to all my ML speakers. Audio sonic nirvana… Blue-Ray style. :D

I am very happy with Casino Royale. I only hope the next James Bond film is half as good, as Casino Royale is. I am very pleased to have Casino Royale ~ Blue-Ray in my, ever growing Blue-Ray library collection. I highly recommend you include this marvelous film in your collection as well.

:D HT relaxed comfortably surrounded in ML bliss, until next time let the movies turn you on…

Austin Martin DBS...

FYI: The car was an Austin Martin DBS.
socialxray,

Thank you.
I will edit my recommendation / review accordingly... ;)

I did not know the car was a Austin Martin DBS. What does the DBS stand for? Is it "Delux Built Sportcar"? :D The older car used in the film was a 1964 Austin Martin.
