Right??? :)

This is my new Robin-esque picture thread idea. Only this time I would LOVE to have a lot of member interaction!!

If any of you are like me and do not mind having a peek under the hood of your equipment, it would be awesome if you could take a picture or two of the insides of your equipment and share it!

I'll start off with an interior shot of my Classe CP-47.5 preamp.

Well, here's a peek under the hood of my Belles 350A Reference amp. BTW, some of those cables are 8 gauge! With this minimalist design, K.I.S.S. rules!

H2O S-150 Amplifier. Two 1k transformers in dual mono... with two other transformers for the input stage. 200,000 UF of capacitance per channel. One heavy mofo that could power a small city for 2g.. a steal..

Joey didn't take those. He is too small to pick up or move the Plinius by himself unless he does not want kids later. LOL
It is a two person job.
:D :D

Hard core

OK, if Robin’s thread was audio-porn, this one is for the hard core stuff, with no covers, show ‘everything’ type of thing.

Keep it coming ;)

Here's a shot of my Modwright SWL 9.0SE... another minimalist design that sings! FYI, Dan is now offering an upgraded SWL with tube rectification, and has also announced the upcoming $4995 LS 36.5 Tube Linestage, fully balanced design, with tube rectification, and 6H30 signal tubes. Details here...

serious current delivery !!

This baby started out as a basic American Standard 'Plese' but has been heavily "modded" with 'Flux Capacitors' and the much praised 'Fluid Magic Regulator', not to mention ported and polished venturis to boot !!

"Courtesy Flushes" are a thing of the past !!

Dave is that a custom color? :D

I bet it has a very "liquid" sound, though others have said it sounds like cr*p! :D

I guess this is water cooling for the 100kW power amp :D :D

Owner wanted a better pre amp than his current Lamm. So he had a custom designed Passive Pre Amp to replace his Lamm L2. The Lamm is still out of the system.
