This is my favorite piano recording. It's latin jazz. I must say that I have seen Michel in NY (Blue Note) many times. He is truly an amazing artist as well as a person. For the recording.....this is one of those recordings that puts you in the center of the stage with the piano. The "presentation" is perfect IMO. I wish you all could see him live then listen, you would be amazed how great it has been recorded. The music is just sooo good to me. Even after 10+ years of listening to him I still get the same feeling of joy. BTW, when he plays certain songs his hands are moving fast enough that they are a blur in person. You will get a effect of true two channel audio the way it should sound. One of my favorite audition disks. Enjoy and let me know what you think.
