---------------

In my opinion, this is one of the 10 CDs to bring with you on a desert island. Two goliaths together - Petrucciani and Grappelli - playing some standard pieces their own way and making the ML's really shine. Particularly Grappelli manages to impress with the way he brings together the violin and the jazz music. Both artists are, sadly, no more with us and playing this recording is a wonderful way to remember them together. Favorite track for testing is #5, "I can't get started". Deep bass, bass with violin, bass with piano, piano solo, piano with violin... everyone has something to give. A beautiful album I'm sure you will enjoy a lot.
