I can't believe how much better the X is. The panel is only a little bigger so you would think just gain more bass with one more woofer. The X is just flat out more musical speaker in every way to the standard Esl.
Took the plunge upgrade v to Esl-X

Congratulations on your upgrade. Isn’t it amazing that a small increase in the panel size makes such a big difference in performance.
