Get a rubber hammer or equivalent. Lightly tap the trim piece down at the top. If it does not move, tap the bottom up.
Careful not to damage the wood.

Mine are aerius ii, there in an aerius i ( or is it just plain aerius?) and sidetrims are remived by tapping downwards.
This seems to contrary to other ml models so the above advice is good.
It doesnt take a lot of force, i reckon it could be done by hsnd although i never tries that.
Read up about ckeaning, you can use a vacuum cleaner tk suck out the dust with the metal mesh screens in place or give them a wash in the shower, advice to that is on here.
