Hi,

I have currently have a set of ML Ethos speakers which I would like to sell in order to upgrade to Montis. I've never tried
to sell used speakers before and am wondering what people's experiences are as to what is the best route to go. I've
heard that eBay is good, or possibly this audio forums like this one.

Some dealers will accept trade-ins of course, but not sure if I could get the best price that way. One dealer informed me that
there are people on eBay who for a commission will do the job for you.

Or maybe there isn't a single best answer! Thought I'd ask anyway.

Thanks!

eBay has gotten pretty expensive these days. By the time you factor in eBay and PayPal fees you are at about 15%. That adds up fast on higher ticket items. I'd go with Dave's advice. If you are able to ship, your chances are much higher than a local sale but there is more risk since FedEx and UPS aren't always very nice to large packages. uShip is another option and usually a bit cheaper that Freight also.
