Hi Guys
Need your thoughts on this. For my room I believe that placement
of my Odyssey is close to optimum now. Speakers are 8 ft apart. 5ft
away from the back wall & toed in about 3 inches. Everything locks in
regardless of the type of music that I play. Problem though is stage
width. Everything is happening in between the speakers. You dont get
the sound of wide spund stage like outside the edge of both speakers
Reducing toe did nothing to help. Have 2 cdps which I tried also no
difference. Oh sitting closer to the speaker did'nt help either.
Any ideas or suggestion ? Thinking if a diffusor directly behind the
speakers might help.

Thanks

Need more info ……….. room dimensions, the rest of your components, etc

Agree more info is needed. Also, diffusion behind with 5' from the wall likely wouldn't hurt.

I've found you can vary the soundstage width by adjusting the amount of toe-in. Speakers pointed straight ahead gives a wider stage, and it narrows as they get more toed-in. YMMV

Apologies for the late reply guys. Room measures 7m x 6.5m width. Looks squarish but in reality it isnt cause flanking left n right of speakers are 2 doors which leads into 2 small rooms. Sometimes I leave them open when Im playing music. Room is moderately life. Will treat the room soon.

Thanks

Your right Peter not toeing in does improve the sound stage but you loose resolution as the logans isn't a wide angle speaker. If we move the speakers closer they sound too congested . In my case the sweet spot seems to be around 7.5 to 8ft apart

Thanks again
