Best speakers & reciever for very small room

Hello all,

So, I have a very small room. Mainly 12 x 10 and I would like to know your opinion on the best and adecuate speaker set and AVR I could get. Since the room is small I would prefer bookshelfs. As for the AVR I was thiking on maybe something that could manage 4K since I've got a 4K TV. I took a look at the Onkyo TX-NR646 but I'm still not sure about Onkyo, I was also looking at Marantz SR5010 but still unsure. What do you guys think?¨This room will mainly be used for TV.

I got a Yamaha 675 about a year ago and it does a great job and handles 4K and up to 7.2. It also supports Pandora, and has a pile of other features.

The Yamaha 679 is basically the same thing.

For speakers I've found the Definitive series are both inexpensive, efficient and sound good.
You can get stands for the Left and Right channels. I have mine bolted to the wall since speaker wire was already run through my walls when I got my house.

I'm not a fan of the Definitive subwoofer. In this price range Velodyne is a good value. I have an older discontinued Velodyne 12" sub with more wattage.

I have that system in a room over twice the size of your room and I'm happy with it. But as with everything else your mileage may vary.

It's not the same quality as my stereo system, but it does a great job for movies.

Looks like a great choice. I was also wondering about Atmos & DTS:X. Would it make any sense with a room so small?
