You need to look at this shun mook treatment for UHA tape decks (supposed to be the best source there is) http://unitedhomeaudio.com/shun_mook...uha_tape_d.htm*- of course, too expensive

He has MBL mk2 101e with all MBL amps. He doesn't like vinyl or digital and listens only to master tapes. Many of his mooks are specially designed by the mook designer himself, including the footers, on his MBLs which can be screwed into the speaker to hold it upright.

He has two resonators screwed together to form one, and also uses them as dampers.

Just fyi, he is also a still point dealer.

His main website is here*http://unitedhomeaudio.com/index.htm

The video errr*https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wuQeQGDrjHE

You forgot to mention Lampizator in this thread Kedar. Was that a mistake?

Yeah I should take the Lampi to Virginia to compare with the tape deck. Anyway I am in the train enroute to compare it with the total dac latest

The guy's main web site is the perfect example of how to not design a web site. There's one massive block instead of groupings of subjects.

UHA is just up the road from me here in Maryland. Good guy, passionate about tape decks, and well regarded in the industry. Rather than being anti-vinyl or digital, I think it is more accurate to say he much prefers reel-to-reel (who doesn't?).

You should audition his mooks. I was chatting with him over the phone btw, learned a lot
