I know this will sound crazy but can the built in power amps on the summit be bypassed? Would like to use my on amp for the lower freq. thanks

Maybe it is not feasible at first glance but it makes sense especially that in my opinion quality of bas from internal class D amplifier is not as good as from external amplifier.
I see also that current top speakers Monolith have passive bass module what is a sign for me that solution with internal class D amplifier is not excellent solution.
Question is if there is someone who think in the same way and had the same conclusion and question how to bypass internal amplifier. I think that the main difficulty is that Summit have two bass speakers what causes an issue how to combine it with the panel in terms of phases... I am very interested in any ideas how to use external ampliefier instead of internal, even if it is difficult and needs a big effort.
