Default Should we seperate "Main Discussion Forum" into "Motion" and "ESLs"?

    Hey all,
there seems to be so much more of the ML Motion owners on the site, and I was thinking of maybe splitting the Main Discussion Forum into two subforums; One for the Motion line and the other for everything else (electrostats).

What do you think? Is it necessary? Would it make things easier to find?

This site is nearly dead. I don't think it needs any further segmentation.

Splitting might be good idea, for example acoustic properties and recommendations are quite different between these two principles, amp requirements as well etc...

Unfortunately, yes. Traffic has dropped a lot. Or at least posting has. Same story for almost every forum on the internet. Silly facebook junk.

One potential source of confusion: the entry-level Electromotion ESL. If you do make the split, I would suggest that this be in the electrostatic category.

It's an ESL Hybrid, so of course it would be in with the other ESLs. :-)

Traffic, statistically is actually UP on the site, but posting seems down a bit, which could be because people are finding answers to their questions on the site instead of posting the same question....

Traffic also goes up and down based on what ML is doing, I suspect. Other than the buzz around the Neolith, they haven't given us much to discuss lately. Personally, I think this forum is far from dead.

I don't support splitting. First, I like the site as it is and second, where would you put discussions of pros and cons of ESLs vs dynamic speakers such as Motion?

Tom, I think you should leave it as it is for now. A troubleshooting section might be useful though.

I vote for the split. As a Motion 40 owner it'd be nicer to see that stuff grouped.
